Aplysia Facility Receives $2.7M From NIH
The National Resource for Aplysia at UM’s Rosenstiel School has had its resources grant with the NIH extended for five years. The facility is the only place in the world that cultures and raises Aplysia californica. The facility will receive $2.7 million to raise these animals, which are used by scientists all over the world to study memory and learning, genomics, toxicology for developmental studies, substance addiction, nerve senescence and regeneration, etc Read more…

‘Go Green’ This Hurricane Season
With the start of the official hurricane season, State Farm and its more than 600 Florida agents are urging Floridians to “Get Ready, Go Green” by taking steps to prepare for the possibility of a storm strike this season.
